In an economy where everyone is tightening their belts, we make certain that every dollar we spend supports the high quality of care provided at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital. That is why when we ask you to contribute to the hospital, we do so with a strong sense of responsibility, and deep gratitude for your investment.

One of our most important avenues of support from community members is our Annual Giving Program, which helps us address our highest priority needs.

This year, annual gifts will aid many essential services, but our focus is on upgrading equipment in our Rehabilitation Services Department.

“I felt as though I had private nursing and personal physical and occupational therapists for the eight days I was in skilled nursing.”

That is what Donna Butler, retired music teacher at Hanover’s Bernice A. Ray School, had to say after her recent stay in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation unit.

“It was a truly nurturing experience that has helped me recover more quickly than expected. And now I am continuing my progress as an outpatient. Caring people, outstanding care – that is what you will find at APD.”

Our skilled and dedicated team of therapists delivers highly personalized care in a nurturing environment both inside the hospital and on an outpatient basis. And our com¬mitment to sustaining that quality will not change. But to keep pace with new therapies and advanced technologies, we must continue to upgrade our equipment. You can help by making a contribution to the Medical Equipment Fund

You may of course direct your donation to the Nursing Education Fund, providing career-enhancing educational opportunities to our outstanding nursing staff; the Harvest Hill Fund, which provides resources for APD’s independent and assisted living retirement community; or any other purpose that you choose.

To make a donation, click on the following link: Make an Annual Gift and print and return the form to APD. You may even give on an ongoing basis by credit card. Just select the option on the form that fits your wishes.

At APD, we put your gifts to work. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us better serve you and patients like Donna Butler.

To discuss your annual gift, make a gift of securities, or learn more about legacy giving opportunities, please contact Melanie N. Moore at 603-448-7429.
