Giving to APD
Our Heritage and Our Future
Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital’s very first gift was the homestead that Alice Peck Day bequeathed to found a cottage hospital in Lebanon. Alice’s donation laid the cornerstone for APD, and the community took up the torch to ensure the hospital’s viability and its growth. Now, more than 75 years later, that heritage of support continues, and Alice’s vision of a place that would care for the community remains the fabric of APD.
“APD is an Upper Valley gem—it offers high-tech, high-touch care in a community setting, and I am proud to support it.” — Jim T. Wilder.
Philanthropic support has enabled the hospital to expand its facilities and services over the years while remaining a place where patients come for high quality, highly personalized care. We would not exist today without the commitment and generosity of our community. We rely on it more than ever to meet the challenges presented by today’s economy and health care environment.
