Ways to Support APD
Annual Giving Program
The Annual Giving Program is the foundation of all philanthropy at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital. It supports hospital operations and helps APD provide for other priority needs like charity care for patients who are unable to pay their medical bills. Every gift is important to the hospital and every gift, large or small, makes a difference.
Please consider becoming a sustaining donor to the Annual Giving Program. You can elect to become a sustaining donor with monthly, quarterly, or annual charges to a credit or debit card in the amount you choose.
To make a gift to the annual fund, please use our secure online giving site or download a form to make your gift by mail. Please make checks payable to Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital. Grateful Patient Program
…a smile that made you feel at ease…a caring hand reassuring you or the warm blanket that brought you comfort. These simple gestures of compassion from APD team members are what makes a difference to our patients.
Through the APD Grateful Patient Program, you have the opportunity to express your gratitude in recognition of the excellent care you received at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital.
Some of the most meaningful gifts we receive come from patients or their families who want to say thank you to a physician, nurse, or other employee, or to mark a milestone in recovery. When you give a gift in honor of one of our team members, we will see that your message reaches the appropriate person so they know of your gratitude and your generosity. The amount of your gift will remain confidential. We will send you an acknowledgement for your contribution for your tax records.
All monies received support the Annual Giving Program, which helps to address the hospital's greatest needs—equipment updates and purchases, nurses' continuing training and education, and the Senior Care Program. Your gift helps us help others.
