Alice Peck Day Health Systems Elects Board Member
December 10, 2010 - Lebanon resident Shelly Moses was elected to the board of trustees at the Alice Peck Day Health Systems annual incorporators meeting on December 8. Moses is an administrative coordinator at Second Growth in Wilder, VT, a nonprofit social-service agency that works to reduce the risk for adolescent substance abuse and violence.
“I was honored to be asked to serve,” said Moses who has lived in Lebanon since 1983. “I am following in the footsteps of others who have guided APD to leading edge, compassionate health care. I hope to add to that legacy.”
Moses has helped staff the WISE hotline for five years, been a longtime volunteer in the Lebanon schools, co-founded a gift-book program at the School Street School’s library and served for five years as the Parents Teachers Organization co-president. She has been a member of the Alice Peck Day Hospital’s 75th anniversary committee, fund-raised for the Skip Matthews Road Race and is currently serving as a commissioner at the Lebanon Housing Authority.
“We are fortunate to have Shelly Moses working with us to improve health care for our community,” said Hospital President Harry Dorman. “She brings significant experience to her role as board member as well as strong commitment to the hospital and the community we serve.”
