Alice Peck Day Health Systems Welcomes New Hospital Board Trustees

February 3, 2012—At the annual meeting of the Alice Peck Day Health Systems Board on January 31, the following individuals were appointed to the Hospital Board of Trustees:
 
Board certified Family Practitioner Deborah A. Glazer, MD, who was recently designated as the Medical Staff President, joined the Hospital Board. Glazer joined the APD medical staff in 1985. She received her medical degree from Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York and completed her residency at St. Clare’s Family Practice in Schenectady, New York.

Martha P. Candon, Vice President, Sales & Service Training Director at Mascoma Savings Bank, has more than 30 years of experience in retail banking in the Hanover community. Prior to joining Mascoma Savings Bank she was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Ledyard National Bank and worked in various positions at Dartmouth National Bank and its successors. Candon is a graduate of the New England School of Banking at Williams College, and has been active with a number of Upper Valley organizations, including CHaD (Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth), the United Way, Hannah House and the Hanover Area Chamber of Commerce.

Curt A. Jacques has 33 years in the feed business field and has owned and managed West Lebanon Feed and Supply since 1995. He is a past member of the President's Advisory Board for Blue Seal and he currently serves on the President's Club Board with Kent Nutrition Group and is a board member of the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce. Jacques is the founding member of the West Lebanon Civic Association. He has been recognized as the Business of the Year in 2007 by the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce as well as the Grafton County Business of the Year in 2009. In 2010 he received the Excellence in Retail Award from New Hampshire Business Review Magazine and a Commendation for Excellence from Governor John Lynch.
 
Brett C. Peltzer, CFA, Peltzer Capital Management, LCC, brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. He advises clients on overall wealth management. Previously, he was the Senior Investment Office at Ledyard National Bank. He earned his Masters of Business Administration and his undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont. Peltzer also serves on the boards of the Upper Valley Haven, Hannah House and Camp Thorpe.
 
The Health Systems Board of Trustees also reappointed Michael J. Cryans (2 years), Reverend Dr. Guy J.D. Collins (3 years), Jennifer H. Judkins, MD (2 years) and Miriam M. Maguire (3 years).
