Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital’s Pat Blanchard Retires

April 22, 2011—Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is saying farewell to one of its employees, as she prepares for retirement. Long serving employee, Pat Blanchard of Lebanon, NH, has dedicated 24 years to APD.

Blanchard’s employment with APD began as a nutrition aide in 1987 but was temporarily assigned for 90-days to a housekeeping assignment that evolved into a stellar career of dedication and leadership in keeping the hospital as clean as possible. She has witnessed many changes in her tenure, but has always remained committed to her work in the Housekeeping department and to the community-feel of the Hospital.

“Pat is one of those everyday heroes at the Hospital,” adds J. Todd Miller, MS, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “Her diligence, devotion and ‘whatever it takes attitude’ will remain an inspiration to all of us at APD.”

Recently, Blanchard was honored for her years of service with a celebration at the Hospital, that both her co-workers and her family attended.
