Alice Peck Day Welcomes New Nursing Director

Jessica Ash"We're pleased to add Jessica to the APD team," says Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer Beverley Rankin, R.N., B.S.N.,M.S.A., BC-NE. "She not only embodies our mission of delivering top-quality care in a warm, comfortable atmosphere, she's a problem-solver, able to remedy complex situations with critical thinking and collaboration."

"Jessica also has wonderful experience with quality improvement," Ms. Rankin adds, "and she will be using that knowledge to further enhance our processes and quality in the department. We’re working to deliver outstanding healthcare through a better understanding of what the process feels like for patients and their families. We want to reduce costs, create the best possible outcomes, and have the highest patient satisfaction—and Jessica’s expertise will help us reach those goals."

Ms. Ash's professional experience includes many years at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, where she worked as a Unit Nurse Manager and served on DHMC's Education Advisory Council. She also has strong experience in operations, human resources, supervision, training, and mentorship.

She received an Associate Degree in Nursing from New Hampshire Technical College, and she is presently completing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Franklin Pierce University. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the New Hampshire Organization of Nursing Leaders, and the American Nurses Association.
