APD honors its newest Employee of the Quarter Susan Rose
August 9, 2012—Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is pleased to recognize Susan Rose, Financial Counselor, as the Employee of the Quarter.
When patients are overwhelmed with mounting medical expenses, Rose helps connect them to available funding sources. She has been recognized for her empathetic and loyal service by patients and colleagues. Rose, who resides in West Lebanon, NH and joined APD in 2010, holds an Associate’s degree in Human Services from Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont.
Rose was recently commended for her assistance by an APD patient: “She answered every question I had and reassured me that she would help in whatever way she could. She attentively listened to me as I explained the struggle I have had with trying to find assistance with my medical bills. She reassured me that she was going to help me.” . . . “Not only did she do her job quickly, correctly and efficiently, but she went above and beyond. She is one of the most empathetic, understanding and reliable people that I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I knew that I could count on her and if she said she was going to call me back, she did just that. This world needs more Susan’s.”
“Susan interacts with patients with genuine care and compassion,” shares Todd Thompson, Director, Patient Access. “She is a skilled financial counselor who practices what she believes — a positive attitude makes everything possible. Susan is truly deserving of this recognition.”
