APD Hosts Nursing Documentation Seminar
February 17, 2012—On February 19 and 20, Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is hosting a documentation seminar for its nursing staff.
Visiting speaker Pam Collins, RN-BC, MSN, CMSRN, Education/Medical-Legal Consultant, who has nearly 30 years of professional and clinical experience, will lead the seminar. She will cover topics relevant to understanding the importance of proper nursing documentation, documenting in today's tough medical situations, reviewing current laws and sharing practical guidelines.

Collins is the owner of Consultation On-Call, LLC, a consulting firm based in Rock Hill, SC. She also serves on staff at an acute care facility in North Carolina and maintains certification in medical-surgical nursing.
