APD Regonizes Donna Leonard as the Employee of the Quarter
December 21, 2012—Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is pleased to recognize Donna Leonard, Environmental Services Technician, as the Employee of the Quarter.
Leonard, who has been with APD for over ten years, recently “literally struck gold” when she found a patient’s missing wedding rings and necklace. The surgical patient had gone home, realized the jewelry had been left behind and called in a panic. Donna took on the search and was able to locate the missing jewelry, and save the day.
Leonard, who resides in Lebanon, has a primary responsibility of housekeeping within the new Medical-Surgical Unit. “The best way to describe Donna is – dedicated,” stated Megan Lemere, Manager of Environmental Services. “She arrives with a good attitude and ready to work. She is thorough in every task she performs, and is gracious, loyal, dedicated and very dependable.”
“Donna is a go getter, always willing to step in and help with anything, anyway that she can,” shares John A. Thibodeau Jr., RN, BSN. She always has a smile and an infectious positive attitude. Not only does she care about the cleanliness of our hospital she truly cares about our patients.”
