APD Welcomes New Director of Rehabilitation Services
April 26, 2012—Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, NH, is pleased to announce the addition of John McGowan, Physical Therapist, as the new Director of Rehabilitation Services.
McGowan brings 35 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, in places ranging from an Orthopaedic Clinic in Honolulu, HI to the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, ME. Most recently he worked as a Physical Therapist at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, NH. He also operated his own rehabilitation business for over 20 years.
“We are extremely excited to have someone with John’s experience join our team,” said Beverley Rankin, RN, MSA, BC-NE, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership skills that will help our Rehabilitation Services team to continue to grow and meet the needs of our patients.”
McGowan received his certification in Physical Therapy from the Mayo Foundation, School of Health Related Sciences in Rochester, MN and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Greenville College, Greenville, IL. He is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
