APD’s Women’s Care Center opens new Midwifery Center in New London, NH
October 13, 2011—Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Care Center has expanded its Midwifery services with a location that opened earlier this month in New London, NH.
The new location is an extension of the services currently offered in Midwifery clinic in Lebanon, NH. Deborah Dworak, Practice Director, Women’s Care Center said APD has seen an increase in clients searching for more personalized care during pregnancy.
"We are excited to offer the services of our three skilled midwifes to expecting families in New London and the surrounding communities,” adds Dworak. “This clinic will provide mothers-to-be with high quality care and offer real choice.”
Three APD midwifes, Kelly Brogan, RN, CNM, MEd, MSN, Laurie Foster, CNM, MS, CPM, and Ellen McAndrew, CNM, bring 75 years of experience, specialize in prenatal, labor and delivery, well-women gynecology, and the Centering Pregnancy care program.
