General Surgeon Timothy Siegel, MD Joins APD
August 19, 2011—Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Timothy Siegel, MD, FACS to the medical staff of the General Surgery department.
Dr. Timothy Siegel is a board certified general surgeon who received his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire and completed his residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.
Prior to joining APD, Dr. Siegel was an attending surgeon and Chief of Surgery at the Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital and Cobleskill Regional Hospital in Cooperstown, New York. He also served as the Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery with Columbia University and the University of Rochester.
“Dr. Siegel brings over 16 years of surgical and medical expertise to APD and is an excellent addition to our medical staff,” said Rick Senn, Practice Director, Surgical Clinics. “We are very pleased to have him join our team in furthering health care in General Surgery. His interest and experience will greatly benefit our patients and community.”
Dr. Siegel’s medical interests include gastrointestinal surgery, pediatric surgery, laparoscopy, breast surgery, hospice and palliative care and resident education.
