Holiday Stars light up APD
November 30, 2012—Beginning December 3, 2012 the Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is lighting up APD with the fifteenth annual “Celebration of Lights.”
Throughout the holiday season lights and stars will illuminate the main entrances to the Hospital and Harvest Hill. “If you are looking for a unique gift for someone special — a loved one, a friend, a neighbor, a caretaker, a family member, a colleague, or a member of the military — we invite you to add a beautiful star in their honor,” states Claudia Gibson, President, APD Auxiliary. “Simply make a donation to celebrate someone and we will personalize a star with the name you request and display it amongst the lights.” We will personalize a star with the name you request and an acknowledgement card is mailed to those you recognize.
You can add a personalized star by visiting the Volunteer Desk in the Hospital’s lobby, or by completing the Celebration of Lights form. Over the last sixteen years the Auxiliary has donated well over $700,000 to the Hospital. Your donation will help support APD’s healthcare services and patients.
