Local Preschoolers deliver Community Service project
A group of Upper Valley preschoolers ranging from age two to five visited Jane A. Hammond, age 102, at Harvest Hill retirement community at Alice Peck Day Hospital on January 29. They presented her with a polar fleece blanket that they made together as part of a learning unit about taking an active part in community service. After presenting the blanket, the children joined Mrs. Hammond for lunch and were excited to hear that Sloppy Joes were on the menu.
