Urologist Ann Gormley, MD, MS joins APD Medical Staff
November 9, 2012—Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital proudly welcomes Urologist Ann Gormley, MD to its medical staff. Dr. Gormley will be seeing patients at APD one day per week while maintaining her clinical practice at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Dr. Gormley is a board certified Urologist who is now affiliated with APD through a mutual agreement with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where she has been practicing for over 19 years. She is also a Professor of Surgery and is currently the Director the DHMC’s Urology Residency Program.
“Our affiliation with DHMC will allow us to address the urological needs of our patients,” stated Rick Senn, Practice Director, Surgical Clinics. “Dr. Gormley brings enthusiasm for her work and a tremendous breadth of knowledge and experience as a clinician, surgeon and teacher.”
Gormley attended Medical School at the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine, Saskatoon, Canada. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Experimental Surgery from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. Throughout her career she has received several urological awards and served on many committees, taught numerous courses and written countless journal articles.
