Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital’s Brian Lombardo, M.D. Returns to the Upper Valley After African Sabbatical
The
Robert A. Mesropian Center for Community Care (RAMCCC), a Department of Alice
Peck Day Memorial Hospital, is pleased to announce that Brian Lombardo, M.D.,
of Thetford Center, Vt., has returned to its active medical staff. Dr.
Lombardo, who has been at the RAMCCC since 1995, is a Family Practice physician
who spent the past year in Dakar, Senegal. He has now returned to full-time practice and is accepting
new patients.
TheRobert A. Mesropian Center for Community Care houses a team of physicians and
nurse practitioners who are accepting new patients in Family Practice, Internal

Upper Valley A.W.A.K.E. Support Group Meeting
May 3 - The Upper Valley A.W.A.K.E. (Alert,
Well And Keeping Energetic) support group, for those with sleep apnea, will
hold a meeting on Thursday, June 3 from 6–8 pm at the Dwinell Room at Harvest
Hill, 121 Mascoma Street, Lebanon, NH. Scott F. Bobbitt, DMD, MAGD, will speak
on oral appliance therapy: the selection, design, fitting and use of a
custom-designed oral appliance worn during sleep. The event is free and open to

Robert A. Mesropian Center for Community Care Adds Acupuncture to Services
April 29 - Beginning
in May, Nina McCampbell, M.D. will begin acupuncture treatments for current
patients at the Robert A. Mesropian Center for Community Care (RAMCCC), a
department of Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital, the hospital’s primary care
clinic.
Dr.
McCampbell, a specialist in Family Medicine at the clinic, served a fellowship in Holistic, Integrative and Pluralistic
Medicine at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center in Lawrence, Ma, which
included 300 hours of acupuncture training at Harvard Medical School. She is a
member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family
Physicians. Acupuncture is a practice that
involves inserting tiny needles into various points on the body to relieve pain
or for therapeutic purposes for conditions such as arthritis, migraines, and
stress related conditions. Acupuncture treatment is rooted in Chinese medical
theory and practice.
The
RAMCCC offers a comprehensive range of primary care services for the whole
family. Their team of physicians and nurse practitioners are accepting new

Alice Peck Day Health Systems’ CFO Honored, Named President-Elect of Healthcare Financial Management Association (N.H.-Vt. Chapter)
April 19 - Evalie
Crosby, CPA, FHFMA of Claremont, Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial
Offier at Alice Peck Day Health Systems, recently received two awards from the
Healthcare Financial Management Association (New Hampshire and Vermont
Chapter). One is the Reeves Silver Merit Award, an award given for service to that
organization. Crosby was one of only nine recipients of the Gold, Silver and
Bronze awards. The second recognition was the Helen M. Yerger Award for
Outstanding Performance in Innovation, a special recognition given at the
national level for projects that benefit HFMA members, for a project she
spearheaded for Vermont members. Crosby was also named President-Elect of the
HFMA (N.H.-Vt. chapter) for the 2010–2011 year.
Crosby
has been APD’s Vice President of Finance and CFO since March 2009. Alice Peck Day Health Systems is an integrated health care

Sheila Feyrer, M.D., Named Medical Director of Informatics at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital
April 13 - Alice
Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD) in Lebanon, N.H., is pleased
to appoint Sheila Feyrer, M.D. of Hanover as Medical Director of Informatics.
The Medical Director of Informatics, a newly created position, will serve as
the principal liason between the hospital, its clinics, and the Information
Services department in planning, design, evaluation and development of
outpatient and inpatient clinical software systems, such as an electronic
health record.
Dr. Feyrer
has been on the medical staff of the Robert A. Mesropian Center for Community
Care, a department of APD, since 2003. A Board Certified pediatrician, she
earned her BS degree in Mathematical and Computational Sciences from Stanford
University in California. She earned her medical degree at the Medical College
of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and served her residency at Boston Floating Hospital
for Children at New England Medical Center.
“We are very fortunate to have
someone with Dr. Feyrer’s blend of skills as a physician and an information
systems professional,” says J. Todd Miller, APD’s Chief Operating Officer. “We

Shagun Saggar, M.D., Named Medical Director of Harvest Hill Retirement Community
Alice
Peck Day Health Systems in Lebanon, N.H., is pleased to
name Shagun Saggar, M.D. of Lebanon as Medical Director of Harvest Hill, its
on-campus independent and assisted living community.
Dr.
Saggar is Board Certified in Family Medicine, primary care with an emphasis on
treating each patient as part of a family. She earned her BS degree in
Psychology from Loyola College in Chicago, and earned her M.D. degree at the
Ross University School of Medicine in Edison, N.J. She served a fellowship in
Palliative Care at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and her residency at
Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago. She has practiced in Washington state
as well as “Partners in Health” in Newport, N.H. She currently practices at the
Robert A. Mesropian Center for Community Care, located at 123 Mascoma Street in

Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital Welcomes Shradha P. Shah, M.D. to the Emergency Department Staff
March 29 - Alice
Peck Day Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, N.H., is pleased to welcome Shradha Shah, M.D., of Hanover, N.H. to the staff of the Emergency
Department.
Dr.
Shah served her residency in Emergency Medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital
in Detroit, Mich., and received her M.D. degree from Wayne State University
School of Medicine in Detroit. She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and
is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. She also holds a
Masters of Fine Arts in Poetry from New York University and completed a program
in Spanish Philology at the University of Barcelona. She is fluent in Spanish,
Gujarati and Hindi. Dr. Shah has performed disaster relief work in India and in
New York City after the World Trade Center attacks, and has recently returned
from providing medical relief in Haiti.

Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital Medical Laboratory Receives Accreditation
April 5 - Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital’s Medical Laboratory has
been awarded an accreditation by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of
the College of American Pathologists (CAP), based on the results of a recent
on-site inspection. The laboratory’s director, Bruce J. Lewis M.D., was advised
of his national recognition and congratulated for the excellence of the service
being provided.
Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital is one of the more than
7,000 CAP-accredited laboratories nationwide. The CAP Laboratory Accreditation
Program is recognized by the federal government as being equal to or more
stringent than the government’s own inspection program.
Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Holds Open House and New Member Orientation
March 30 - The
Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will be holding an Open House and
New Member Orientation on Monday, April 5, from 4 – 5 pm in the hospital’s main
lobby. Members of the public can take a hospital tour and learn more about the
Auxiliary. The free event will be followed by an Auxiliary meeting at 5 pm in

Orthopaedic Surgeon Glen Neale, M.D. Joins APD Medical Staff
Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in
Lebanon, N.H., is pleased to welcome S. Glen
Neale, M.D., to its Orthopaedics staff at the APD Orthopaedic Clinic. Dr. Neale
has practiced as an orthopaedic surgeon in New England for more than twenty
years, and has a special interest in arthoscopies of the shoulder.
Dr. Neale received his medical degree from
the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, Vt., serving an
Orthopaedic Residency at the University of Vermont and a General Surgery
Residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. Dr. Neale
has also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Vermont
and is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He has practiced privately in
Morrisville, Vt. for more than a decade.
Dr. Neale
will be joining the orthopaedic practice of Dr. Leonard Rudolf, who has
practiced at APD for many years; they will be serving patients at their offices
in Lebanon, N.H. at the APD Orthopaedic Clinic and in Windsor, Vt., at Mount
