Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital’s Brian Lombardo, M.D. Returns to the Upper Valley After African Sabbatical
The
Robert A. Mesropian Center for Community Care (RAMCCC), a Department of Alice
Peck Day Memorial Hospital, is pleased to announce that Brian Lombardo, M.D.,
of Thetford Center, Vt., has returned to its active medical staff. Dr.
Lombardo, who has been at the RAMCCC since 1995, is a Family Practice physician
who spent the past year in Dakar, Senegal. He has now returned to full-time practice and is accepting
new patients.
TheRobert A. Mesropian Center for Community Care houses a team of physicians and
nurse practitioners who are accepting new patients in Family Practice, Internal
Medicine and Pediatrics. The RAMCCC is located at 123 Mascoma Street in

H1N1 and Seasonal Flu Information
Influenza activity is currently widespread in New Hampshire and Vermont. The predominant influenza virus we are seeing is the Novel H1N1 virus. This site will give you information to help you stay healthy and know what to do if you become ill.
H1N1 Influenza Vaccine information
The H1N1 vaccine is now available to the general public. Please contact your primary care provider to schedule an appointment to receive your vaccination.
Please note that APD did not receive any of the recently recalled pediatric vaccine

Alice Peck Day currently has Seasonal Influenza vaccine available. Call your primary care provider to schedule an appointment.
Signs and symptoms of the flu
fever (100 degrees Farenheit or greater)
sore throat
body aches
nasal congestion
headache
fatigue
dry cough
sometimes vomiting and diarrhea
What to do if you have symptoms of the flu and have no underlying medical conditions
Get lots of rest and drink a lot of liquids
Stay home until at least 24 hours after you no longer have a fever
If you have to go out, wear a mask over your mouth and nose
Call your primary care provider if you have questions or need advice
What to do if you are sick and have underlying medical conditions, such as asthma
Call your primary care provider
Coming to the hospital
We ask that you please do not visit friends or family members at the hospital if you are ill, to help keep patients safe
If you come to the hospital as a patient, we will ask you to wear a mask to help prevent the spread of illness
Healthy habits can protect yourself and your family from illness
Wash your hands frequently, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
Cover your cough by coughing or sneezing into your sleeve or a tissue
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
Avoid close contact with people who are ill
Don't share cups, drinking straws, eating utensils or towels without washing
Stay home when you are sick
