Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons care for patients with problems associated with wisdom teeth, facial pain, and misaligned jaws. They also treat accident victims with facial injuries, place dental implants, and care for patients with oral cancer, tumors, and cysts of the jaws. Some surgeons also perform facial cosmetic surgery. APD is affiliated with four local practitioners: Craig H Cohen, DMD; Thomas A Hillebrand, DDS; and Keith C Rogerson, DMD.

Our Health Care Team
Craig H Cohen, DMD, of Upper Valley Oral Surgery in West Lebanon and New London, is a member of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He earned his DMD at University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, CT, where he also completed his residency. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the American Dental Association and the American College of Dentistry. Dr. Cohen specializes in dental implants and oral surgery. He has been working with APD since 1983.
Thomas A Hillebrand, DDS, practices dental surgery in Claremont, He earned his DMD at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in Teaneck, NJ
Among his residencies, Dr. Hillebarnd was chief resident of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Service at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and was a
dental resident at the University of Vermont Medical Center, Burlington, VT. Dr. Hillerand is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons,
a fellow of the American Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the
American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a
member and former officer of the New Hampshire Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He was also
past president of the New Hampshire Dental Society
and of the American Cancer Society. From 1980 to 1991 Dr. Hillebrand was head of the Dental Department at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH.
Keith C Rogerson, DMD, of Upper Valley Oral Surgery in West Lebanon and New London, is a member of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He earned his DMD at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia and completed his residency at the University of Connecticut Medical Center, Farmington, CT. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Rogerson specializes in dental implants and oral surgery. He began working with APD in 1993.
