Our Team

Dr Leonard Rudolf

Leonard Rudolf, MD

Our team of professionals diagnoses and treats a variety of orthopaedic conditions including hip and knee disorders, arthritis, athletic injuries, overuse injuries, and common fractures or dislocation. Our clinic features a highly qualified surgeon with decades of experience in New England. Dr. Leonard Rudolf is Board Certified in orthopaedic surgery and performs general orthopaedic procedures, including hip and knee replacements, on the APD campus.

Dr. Leonard Rudolf is an orthopaedic surgeon performing knee arthroscopies and hip and knee joint replacements, with a sub-specialty in treatment of the lumbar spine. Dr. Rudolf also performs a new technique, SI joint fusion, to manage SI (sacroiliac) joint pain.

He received his medical degree from the University of Besançon, France, serving orthopaedic residencies at Jewish Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and Medical Center and Harlem Hospital Center in New York, New York. He completed his internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and a fellowship in Spine Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York.

Sarah Liegl, MS, PA-C is a Physician Assitant that performs clinic evaluations and treatment of orthopaedic-related injuries, follow-up care of orthopaedic patients and assists with orthopaedic surgical cases. Sarah works under the direction of Dr. Leonard Rudolf, who has been a distinguished surgeon at APD for over 25 years.

She holds a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Albany Medical College in New York. She also earned a Master of Public Health degree in environmental studies and epidemiology from the Northwest Ohio Consortium of Public Health in Toledo, Ohio. Her undergraduate studies were in zoology and African studies at the University of Wisconsin.
