APD is affiliated with two very experienced and skilled plastic surgeons—Dr. Gerald Drabyn and Dr. David Weinberg. Dr. Drabyn has worked extensively with children as well as adults and specializes in cleft lip and palate surgery, cosmetic surgery, and in breast reduction and reconstruction. Dr. Weinberg is an oculofacial plastic surgeon, who focuses on specialized procedures that address injuries and conditions affecting the eye and the face.

Our Health Care Team
Gerald Drabyn, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon, he is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. He earned his MD at the Indiana University Medical School, Indianapolis, IN, and completed his residency at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH.
Dr. Drabyn began working with APD in 2002 and he has more than 30 years of experience in plastic surgery. He has also practiced at the Children’s Hospital in Ohio.
David Weinberg, MD, is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in oculofacial plastic surgery. He is a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society. Dr. Weinberg is also an instructor at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH.
Having earned his MD at Albany Medical College, Albany, NY, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Weinberg also undertook fellowships in neuro-ophthalmology at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, in ophthalmic plastic surgery at Michigan State University, MI, and in ophthalmic plastic surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA, CA.
Dr. Weinberg first worked with APD from 1997 to 2005 and then rejoined us in 2010. His clinical interests include performing eyelid and tear duct surgery, treatment of orbital diseases and surgery, cosmetic surgery, and Botox and filler injections.
