APD Patients to see Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical at Northern Stage
APD awarded complimentary ticket vouchers to two patients and their friends or family members to attend Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical at Northern Stage.
As part of its community outreach efforts, APD is the Season Underwriter for the 2018-19 Northern Stage Season.
“Northern Stage is a community treasure in the Upper Valley, and we are delighted to be able to support this deserving organization this year,” said Peter Glenshaw, Vice President for External Affairs. “Many of our patients and their family members also go to Northern Stage throughout the year to attend their critically-acclaimed and very popular productions,” he added.
“We are thrilled to have the support of APD,” said Carol Dunne, Producing Artistic Director at Northern Stage. “As a not-for-profit organization, Northern Stage’s artistic, educational, and community programs only thrive because of the generosity of donors and the support of local sponsors like APD,” she added.
As a result of that partnership, APD is able to offer discounted tickets to its employees and free tickets on special occasions to a limited number of patients. This holiday season, APD held a raffle in the Multi-Specialty Clinic for patients to enter to win free tickets to the Tony Award-winning Roald Dahl’s Matilda The Musical.
More than 250 entries were received and the two lucky winners were Jason Altman of Meriden, NH, and Debra Kraemer of Thetford, VT. Jason and Debra were both presented with five vouchers on November 8, 2018 at the APD Multi-Specialty Clinic.
“My kids are very excited about going to see the show as a family,” said Jason Altman, “Thanks APD and Northern Stage!” he added.
