Deborah Glazer, MD, joins APD Primary Care Practice
APD is pleased to welcome Deborah Glazer, MD, to its Primary Care practice. Glazer has been practicing on the APD campus since 1985 as an independent provider, and began seeing patients as an employed physician earlier this fall.
The APD Primary Care team which Glazer has joined includes seven family practitioners, two geriatricians, two internal medicine providers, and three pediatricians.
“As an independent provider, I had chosen to be a member of the APD medical staff for 31 years because this hospital has a patient care philosophy consistent with mine,” said Dr. Glazer. “I believe the best medical care is delivered by a physician who knows you and your family and can incorporate the roots of physical, emotional, lifestyle, and social contributors to health, wellness, and disease,” she added.
Glazer received her BS at SUNY in Albany, NY and her Medical Doctorate at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. She completed her residency through St. Clare's Family Practice Residency Program in Schenectady, NY.
“I’m happy that Deb has joined our team,” said Dr. Brian Lombardo, Medical Director at the APD Primary Care practice. “Her addition will add even greater depth to our ability to deliver family care and we are pleased to assist her in continuing to care for the longstanding patients in her practice. We will continually work hard to make them feel welcome here,” he added.
