Gretchen Rutherford joins APD as AVP for Perioperative, Cardiopulmonary, and Sleep Health Services


Alice Peck Day (APD) Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, NH, has announced the addition of Gretchen Rutherford as Associate Vice President for Perioperative, Cardiopulmonary, and Sleep Health Services.

“Gretchen brings exceptional skills and experience to us,” said Jean Ten Haken, Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Nursing at APD. “I have confidence that she will lead and support our managers to continue the high-touch, personalized care we are known for, while also recruiting and retaining dedicated health care professionals to APD,” she added.

Rutherford comes from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where she served in various roles since 2012, most recently as Senior Practice Manager for General Surgery.  Rutherford also has experience in the high-tech industry gained at Microsoft where she focused on People and Organization Capability for the global services organization.

Rutherford earned her MBA at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington and her BA at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.

She originally hails from Seattle, Washington.
