Lisa Kettering, MD, SFHM, FACP joins APD as Interim Chief Medical Officer
Lisa Kettering, MD, SFHM, FACP has become the interim Chief Medical Officer for Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital, effective January 24, 2019.
Kettering was most recently the Chief Medical Officer of UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, CO. Prior to Yampa, she co-founded a private hospitalist group that served three tertiary care hospitals in the Denver metro area.
Board certified in Internal Medicine with a Focused Practice in Hospital Medicine, Kettering practiced as a hospitalist for over 20 years. She also served as the VP of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer for SCL Health in Denver, CO, where she was recognized as “Physician of the Year” in 2006.
“Lisa brings strong experience in overseeing the medical care of patients and the functions performed by medical staff,” said APD President and CEO Sue Mooney, MD, MS, FACOG. “We are fortunate to have her join our leadership team and continue our dedication to high-quality, personalized health care,” she added.
An honors graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Kettering received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
