APD’s Upper Valley Smiles team recently spent a week at the Ottauquechee School in Quechee, Vermont. The school dental team screened 57 students and 43 received preventive dental treatments including topical fluoride varnish and sealants. A total of 388 sealants were applied.

Granite United Way Grant Supports APD School Dental Program

Upper Valley Smiles, a school-based oral health program operated by Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital (APD) has received an $18,000 grant from Granite United Way. This funding will enable APD’s dental team to offer interim therapeutic restorations (ITRs) to children in grades K-4 in the Lebanon, Enfield and Canaan elementary schools this fall.
