APD Announces Revaccination Program

APD has learned that vaccine refrigerator temperatures at its pediatric clinic went outside the acceptable range a number of times over the course of 14 months from September 2014 to October 2015. Because vaccines require consistent refrigeration in order to maintain effectiveness, APD is concerned that some pediatric patients may have received potentially ineffective vaccine(s). As a result, APD has identified 827 patients and is offering to revaccinate them at no cost to the patient or to their insurance carriers.
