The APD Benefits Package

Wouldn't it be nice if your employer helped you navigate the stresses of work, home, and life in general?

At APD, that idea provided by front-line employees became a reality in 2021. A full-time Employee Resource Navigator helps employees (and their families) access available resources, programs, and support on campus and in our wider community.

And that's only one aspect of APD's people-centered benefits package.

Explore the current benefits guide.

Benefits & Wellness

APD offers excellent benefits to employees and their families. We consider the whole person what you need at work and what you need at home and provide more than just your typical medical and dental benefits. Medical benefits, by the way, start on your first day.

We've got you covered

Education & Career Development

Alice Peck Day is committed to the growth and development of our employees. We offer onsite educational opportunities and community partnerships with local schools and colleges. Our membership in the Dartmouth Health system provides additional educational opportunities.

Innovations & Recognitions

In 1932, APD was a cottage hospital specializing in births and minor medical procedures. Today, our healthcare campus spans more than 18 acres and includes a Multi-Specialty Clinic, Infusion Clinic, Sleep Health Center, two independent living communities, a Surgical Short Stay unit, and Surgical Specialties from Neurosurgery to Orthopaedics.

Five-star medical care

Health Plan Price Transparency for Employees: The Federal Transparency in Coverage Final Rule requires that health insurers and self-funded health benefit plans must post machine-readable files (MRFs) on a public internet website. Dartmouth Health employees may link to Optum Behavioral Health to access machine-readable files that are made available in response to the Federal Transparency Coverage Rule and include negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and health care providers. The machine-readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
