Oral Surgery
Oral and maxillofacial surgeons care for patients with problems associated with wisdom teeth, facial pain, and misaligned jaws. They also treat accident victims with facial injuries, place dental implants, and care for patients with oral cancer, tumors, and cysts of the jaws. Some surgeons also perform facial cosmetic surgery.

Our Health Care Team
Thomas Hillebrand, DDS, practices dental surgery in Claremont, He earned his DMD at Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry in Teaneck, NJ. Among his residencies, Dr. Hillebarnd was chief resident of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Service at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and was a dental resident at the University of Vermont Medical Center, Burlington, VT. Dr. Hillerand is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a fellow of the American Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member and former officer of the New Hampshire Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He was also past president of the New Hampshire Dental Society and of the American Cancer Society. From 1980 to 1991 Dr. Hillebrand was head of the Dental Department at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH.
Keith Kealey, DMD, of Upper Valley Oral Surgery in West Lebanon and New London, idsboard certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Born in New York and educated in New Jersey, Dr. Kealey earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Ramapo College and his DMD from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Upon graduation he entered the United States Navy where he completed a General Practice Residency. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Naval Medical Center San Diego. His follow on assignments included positions as Director and Department Head at Naval Hospital Roosevelt Roads, aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, at Naval Dental Center San Diego and Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital. He retired from Active Duty in October of 2011 after 22 years of distinguished service to his country
