Donna Wheeler is no stranger to APD.
“I was born at APD in 1945. My daughter as well as two grandsons were also born at the hospital,” Donna said. “I’ve also had lots of appointments at the Multi-Specialty Clinic over the years.”
But she had never visited the Emergency Department at APD — until recently.
“We had been to other emergency departments several times. They are good but the wait time can be long and staff doesn’t have enough time to spend with patients,” Donna said. “At APD we got right in and the nurse was available immediately. Dr. Andrew Perron spent time with us. It could not have been done any better or be more professional. We had a truly a great experience.”

Donna now resides in Key West, Florida, but still has a home in Sharon, Vermont. “If you have a nonthreatening life emergency, go to APD,” she said. “It is a true Upper Valley treasure.”
