The APD inpatient rehabilitation department is here to assist hospitalized patients receiving treatment or recovering from surgery, injury, or illness. The department consists of a highly trained staff of physical and occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, and assistants.
Our staff is part of a multi-disciplinary team that works together, in collaboration with the patient and family to support recovery and gain the necessary strength, skills, and independence needed to discharge from the hospital. We work with patients and their care teams to develop an individualized rehabilitation program that is specifically tailored to meet each patient’s specific goals and discharge plan. Our goal is to improve each patient's life one day at a time to allow patients to reach their highest level of functional performance.
