Dr. Michael Madan and the pre-operative team at APD utilize rigorous and standardized surgical clearance protocols to efficiently prepare patients for surgery, avoid scheduling delays, and ensure the safest procedure possible. The pre-operative clinic is available to any patient having surgery at APD and all office notes and test results will be sent to the patient’s primary care provider.

- A history and physical exam
- Medication review
- Medical, surgical and family history review
- Pre-operative labs and tests as appropriate, based on best practice protocols.
