APD CEO named to 2024 class of the New Hampshire 200, a ranking honoring the state’s business leaders

Sue Mooney, MD, MS, FACOG

Susan E. Mooney, MD, MS, FACOG, CEO and president of Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital, a member of Dartmouth Health, was named to the 2024 class of the New Hampshire 200, New Hampshire Business Review’s (NHBR) biennial ranking of the Granite State’s top business leaders. The New Hampshire 200 are selected for having made their mark on New Hampshire’s economy, business climate and the state as a whole.

Dr. Mooney has been the President and CEO of Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital since April 2013. She joined APD’s medical staff in 2000 as a full-time obstetrician/gynecologist and continued in that role until 2005 when she took a leave of absence to pursue fellowship training as a Veterans Administration Quality Scholar. During that two-year period of time, she received a master’s in Healthcare Quality Improvement from the Center for Evaluative Clinical Sciences at Dartmouth (now The Dartmouth Institute). Upon her return to APD, she became the Medical Director of Quality and ultimately the Chief Medical Officer before transitioning to her current role.

Introduced five years ago, the New Hampshire 200 initiative acknowledges and celebrates entrepreneurs and leaders hailing from diverse sectors across the state. Members of the class of 2024 were nominated by members of the previous two classes and represent numerous industries. The 2024 edition of the New Hampshire 200 book delves into personal, career and industry perspectives, offering readers valuable insights like learned business lessons, encountered challenges, future predictions, and more.

“We are thrilled to unveil the 2024 edition of the New Hampshire 200 list, showcasing an extraordinary cohort of leaders who are spearheading progress in their respective industries within the Granite State,” said Mike Cote, NHBR’s editor. “We eagerly anticipate presenting the people of New Hampshire with this compelling glimpse into the lives of individuals who are undeniably leaving an indelible and positive mark on our state.”

The New Hampshire 200 class of 2024 will be honored at an event at the Grappone Center in Concord on April 11. To view the full list, visit https://bit.ly/3GzJHVj.
