Flavored Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup popcorn kernels (olive oil or coconut oil optional)

Flavor Ideas

  • Ready-made seasonings such as Everything but the Bagel
  • Margarita: 
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
    • Dash of chili powder
    • Grated lime zest to taste
  • Italian Breadstick: 
    • Dash of basil, parsley, and garlic powder
  • Breadstick 2:
    • Rosemary
    • Black pepper
    • Shake of Parmesan cheese

Directions

  • Place 1/3 cup of popcorn in paper bag.
  • Fold over top of bag several times.
  • Microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, listening carefully for sounds of decreasing popping.
  • Pour into bowl, lightly spray with oil immediately and season to taste.
  • Alternatively:
    • Place 1/3 cup of popcorn in a glass bowl and mix with 1 to 2 teaspoons of your choice of oil. Lightly cover with lid and microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, listening carefully. Immediately season to taste.
