Sausage potato soup

Sausage Potato Soup


  • 2 pounds sausage (one hot and one regular)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 4 cups peeled and diced potato
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, not drained
  • 1 can creamed corn
  • 1 can evaporated milk


  • Brown sausage with onion.
  • Separately, in a stock pot, add water and potato. Simmer until potatoes are tender.
  • Add all other ingredients to pot.
  • Cook, stirring regularly, and serve when hot.
  • Serves up to eight people.
