Evadne G. Marcolini, MD
Emergency Medicine
I know that being a patient in the Emergency Department can be very intimidating and uncomfortable. I always do my best to make sure my patients are as comfortable as possible and are kept informed about their condition and treatment options.
Our job in health care is to be honest with patients and their families, to let them know what we do know as well as what we don't know. I believe in full transparency and education. Talking with my patients and their family members helps me understand their concerns and needs. It also allows me to answer their questions and to educate them about their illness and care options.
I have a strong desire to help people and to promote a healthy society. My goal is to earn my patients’ trust and to have them leave the hospital feeling that they were treated well during what can be a very stressful time.
