Sara W. Mayo, MD, MS
Colon and Rectal Surgery
As a colon and rectal surgeon, I meet patients and families during an extremely unpredictable and vulnerable time in their life. I am dedicated to comprehensive care of the whole patient and to establishing mutual trust.
I thoroughly explain treatments and what my patients should expect from their care. These are critical steps in a patient’s success. Listening to my patients and bringing a sense of clarity to each case is the backbone of my more than 20 years of clinical practice. It is gratifying when a patient says, “I am so relieved. I feel so much better just knowing what can be done.”
Providing state-of-the-art, high-quality, colon and rectal surgical care is our team’s mission. We care for complex problems that require patience, precision, and experience.
