Evan M. Berman, MSN, APRN, APRN
Emergency Medicine
I know what a trip to the emergency room feels like. As an adventurous person, I’ve had my fair share of stitches and broken bones. Those experiences fostered my love for emergency medicine. They also help me provide more empathetic and compassionate care to patients.
I want to heal patients as a whole, physically and spiritually. Achieving that means treating patients as human beings and helping them feel at ease in my care. Even though I see cuts and broken bones frequently, I know these injuries are often new experiences for my patients. In fact, a visit to the ER can be terrifying for individuals and their families. Empathy is at the forefront of my care. Treating patients and helping them through the healing process is the most rewarding part of my day.
