Alicia Battle, PhD, MS, MCHES, is a public health educator and senior academic leader with nearly 30 years of experience strengthening workforce development, community partnerships, and health equity initiatives. She serves as Assistant Dean for Public Health Programs at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, where she oversees the MPH curriculum and partners with accreditation and quality teams to ensure continuous quality improvement aligned with regulatory and workforce needs.

Dr. Battle also directs the New Hampshire Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Program Office, leading federally funded initiatives that expand interprofessional training and support rural and underserved communities. Her career includes leadership roles at Tulane University and extensive collaboration with health systems, community organizations, and academic partners. She brings a systems-focused, equity-driven perspective to governance, with deep expertise in workforce pipelines, accreditation, and community-engaged education.
